This is Us
We are the Grover Family...the faces behind the paws at Golden Grove Acres. I, Erin am the main caretaker of our beautiful dogs and puppies although it takes the whole family to keep everything running smoothly! I have been raising golden retrievers for well over 20 years starting with my parents! Once my husband and I had children (six) we stepped away from raising Golden Retrievers for a brief period. After all of kids were in school we decided to once again follow our passion of breeding Golden Retrievers and helping families find their new furever family member, we've been actively back in our breeding program (Golden Grove Acres) for close to five years ! We know A LOT about Golden Retrievers because we've had A LOT of them and love every minute of it, we do plenty of research and keep up to date on new health findings, although personal experience is where we gain most of of knowledge!
Happy, Healthy Bloodline
We take pride in the health of all our Puppies and Dogs. We do this by adding dogs to our program from Health Tested parents coming from healthy, well respected blood lines/pedigrees. All of our adult dogs come to us as puppies so we know from the beginning their behaviors, characteristics, health and temperament. All of our breeding dogs are genetically health tested and only become part of our breeding program if they pass all of the screening. From the start, all of our dogs have received regular vet care and vaccinations. All of our dogs are "Happy" as well...I know this because ALL of our dogs receive human interaction, care, touch and love daily! They are all raised with US! The health of our mama dogs is always our top priority and at any time if we see any reason that makes us believe they no longer should breed, they will not. The max amount of litters our females will have will be four (typically 2-3) and then they will be spayed and continue to be loved. Over breeding is UNACCEPTABLE! We also feed high quality food and NuVet vitamins to ensure we are giving the best to our FAMILY members because that's what they are to us!
Why our puppies stand out
We strive to breed puppies with the best health and temperament. This starts by health/DNA testing the parents and giving them the best nutrition and care. Once pregnant, the moms receive additional food, vitamins and vet care. The puppies are always birthed in our home with my assistance. Puppies are then raised IN OUR HOME with daily care, attention and socialization. All puppies are fed high quality puppy food along with NuVet vitamins. Puppies are handled from day one and experience ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction). They are raised on modified puppy culture. We feel all the touch, sound, smell introductions are important in developing well rounded puppies who become well rounded dogs. The most important thing we give the puppies while in our care is LOVE!

Beau is our GORGEOUS four year old stud! He is truly one of a kind! His outstanding looks are second in comparison to his personality and loving demeanor which is why we LOVE him so much! Sage is true to her name, Sage Reign. She is a beauty with true grace, honor and loyalty in her personality. Sage is around 65 pounds with a lean build. She is absolutely one of the best moms we’ve ever had! She takes great care of her puppies and keeps them immaculately clean! To date, Sage has had 3 litters, all amazing!

Violet is one of our biggest girls, weighing around 75 pounds. Violet much prefers spending her days outside with the boys! She LOVES to give bear hugs! We always thought she looks like a polar bear!
